I am sure you were in the situation where you have your custom list and then you need to see the items, search for something, browse or anything. But the debug tools are not giving you the ability to do it, so my using the following code you will be able to export it to a file in any format (XML in my case) and then do whatever you need.
XmlSerializer serialiser = new XmlSerializer(typeof(List<Obj>));
TextWriter Filestream = new StreamWriter(@"E:\list.xml");
serialiser.Serialize(Filestream, objList);
Filestream.Close();
